David was born and raised in Alaska, and has lived there most all his life, outside of a few years he spent on the East Coast in the Boston Area. He began playing drums at an early age, and took part in Marching Bands, Percussion Ensembles, Jazz, Country, Blues and Rock bands. David made his living mostly as a rock drummer in Top 40 bands before he joined Medicine Dream. Although influenced by many forms of music you can hear his distinct style as he implements his years of professional craftsmanship into the spirit of Medicine Dream's dynamic, orchestrated sound.
