George is from the Aleut Nation in Alaska. He also share a mixed heritage of Inupiaq, Irish, Russian, and Danish cultures. George grew up in Anchorage Alaska and has performed in rock bands playing lead guitar for many years. His style brings the best elements of heavy rock combined with the gentleness of acoustic guitar to the Medicine Dream sound palette. George also likes learning about his culture and is enjoying the reawakening of his heritage. Being in Medicine Dream has been the most exciting project of his life, getting to meet so many wonderful people as well as having so many good friends. With the support of his family, George says he feels very blessed, it truly is a Medicine Dream.
